COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF DAVIDSON

COMMUNITY SCHOOL OF DAVIDSON - A 71,000 square foot industrial building was repurposed into an innovative , state-of-the-art high school. The Community School of Davidson is a flexible space centered around an imaginative “learning street" that fosters student interaction through the free exchange of ideas. The "learning street" runs through the core of the building, providing natural light throughout the classroom spaces as well as an open feel for both the students and the teachers. The phased project allowed the school to expand as the school population increased and minimal rework to previously constructed portions of the school.
