VS AMERICA - Insight Architects worked on uplifting the existing building on South Tryon Street from 2015 -2023. VS America has a very distinct design philosophy and style. The exteriors have to be simple to provide a backdrop for the furniture that is being displayed. The actual work desks and work furniture are functional and at the same time they serve as a showroom for clients looking for office furniture. The colors are muted and light. One of the challenges was to reroute all ductwork and mechanical units in such a way to make them a part of the architecture or disappear entirely where possible. The result is a very classic timeless modern architecture.
